Apple returned to release beta versions of the operating systems after the holidays. The second beta versions are available to developers including iOS 13.3.1, iPadOS 13.3.1, watchOS 6.1.2, tvOS 13.3.1 and macOS 10.15.3.
Apple , due to holidays left half of the operating system updates continue where it left off. The company provided developers with the second beta versions of iOS 13.3.1, iPadOS 13.3.1, watchOS 6.1.2, tvOS 13.3.1 and macOS 10.15.3 .
New builds are available for download from the Apple Developer Center . Another option is to upgrade via a wireless update from a device running beta software. It is noted that public versions of beta can also be downloaded via the Apple Beta Software Program site a few days after the launch .
The first beta versions were released on December 17th . Prior to this, Apple had completed the testing of iOS 13.3, iPadOS 13.3, watchOS 6.1.1 and tvOS 13.3 on December 10 after 4 beta releases. It is not known what Apple has changed or updated in beta versions because no version's support documentation includes ' release notes ' for software updates . However, beta is thought to include performance improvements and minor changes rather than adding or changing new features.
Users are advised not to install beta versions on vital or priority devices because of the possibility of data loss or other problems . Those who will test beta are advised to install the version on their secondary devices and make backups of their data .
New updates 'groundbreaking' innovations are not expected. However, it seems likely that iOS 13.3.1 includes bug fixes and improvements to other systemic issues for possible problems with the 'Communication Limits' introduced with the latest update.
iPhone models that will receive the iOS 13.3.1 update include:
iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max
iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max
iPhone 8, 8 Plus
iPhone 7, 7 Plus
iPhone 6s, 6s Plus
