Mexican YouTuber Missing a Women's Lawyer Sentenced to 50 Years in Prison

In February 2018, Mexican YouTuber named Germán Abraham Loera Acosta, who kidnapped a female lawyer in Chihuahua state of Mexico, was sentenced to 50 years in prison.

YouTuber Germán Abraham Loera Acosta, 25, who produces digital marketing and business content on the popular video sharing platform YouTube, was sentenced to 50 years in prison on the grounds that he kidnapped a female lawyer in Chihuahua, Mexico .

Acosta was one of six people who forcibly put a lawyer into the car in the incident in February 2018. 25-year-old Mexican YouTuber reportedly rented the house where the victim was held captive and asked for a ransom worth 2 million pesos ($ 103,000) in exchange for release .

The woman was rescued by the police two days after her abduction. In the same operation, four people in the group were caught by the police. Among these names was Mexican YouTuber Acosta. In addition to his prison sentence, Acosta will have to pay 500,000 pesos ($ 25,730).
