Genesis unveiled the images of the highly anticipated luxury car G80 before the official introduction. The new sedan car appears to share many design details with the brand's SUV model GV80.
The 2021 Genesis G80 sedan was spoken for the first time worldwide at the Geneva International Motor Show. After the fair was canceled due to the Corona virus, Genesis showed the car for the first time in detail on the company's official Instagram account.
The South Korean luxury car manufacturer shared a detailed preview of the car, including the interior design, to its followers. Genesis G80 is reminiscent of the GV80 SUV, with the design concept and the long thin headlights, which the brand calls 'double line' . There is a large shield-shaped grille at the front as in the G90.
The stops also reflect the double-line design language and consist of two separate parts , just like the headlights . Although the GV80 has a striking design in almost every respect, the sedan model does not fall short of it either.
The Genesis G80 offers an interior design that is very similar to the SUV model, including the large horizontal 14.5 inch touch screen and wood trims running along the dashboard . The pressure-sensitive gear control in the center console and the black leather coating that dominates the interior also comes from the GV80.
It is known that the G80 will share the same platform as the GV80. Although Genesis has not revealed details about the powertrain under the bonnet of the vehicle, it is predicted that he will still get a 2.5-liter or 3.5-liter V6 engine from his older brother .
Genesis will introduce the vehicle in the coming days and with this introduction we will learn important details about the G80's performance information, pricing and design.
